| Girls Day Out |
| There will be a Junior High Girls Day Out, Tuesday, March 16, 1pm-3:30pm. Meet at north CFLC at 1pm. Sign up in the back of the LOFT to guarantee a spot. We will go to Oak Park Mall and do girly things. |
| Pancake Breakfast SMT Fundraiser |
| THIS Saturday, March 13th, there will be a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser for all those who are going on SMT. Those of you who have signed up, be in Uphaus at 7:30am. You were mailed and emailed a letter that has all the information included. You can pick up the letter in the back of the LOFT. |
| KC District Summer Camp |
| The Nazarene Kansas City District Summer Camp is June 7-12. Total cost is $295. There is a new system of registering this year. You must register and pay the $90 deposit online at www.youthfront.org. To register online, you will need to use the promo code "kcnazyfcamp." You will not be able to register correctly without that promo code. To be guaranteed a spot, you must register online by THIS Monday, March 8. YouthFront will open up registration to the public after that date, and it will sell out very quickly. |
| 24 Hour Famine |
During Spring Break we are encouraging our students to participate in "The 24 Hour Famine" and raise money for world hunger. We are suggesting they start their fast after Sunday lunch, March 14th, at approx 1 pm, and we will meet at the LOFT on Monday, 10am until 3pm. The plan is that students will need to raise a minimum of $5 in pledges to participate (hopefully a lot more) and when they come to the church they need to bring the money they have raised and bring at least three sack lunches with them which we will take to downtown KC to give out to needy people at a mission.
The lunches should include two sandwiches, a drink, some type of chips, and some type of treat (granola, dessert, etc). *The sandwiches should NOT have peanut butter in them.* Special treats for the lunches would be hard-boiled eggs, fruit, cookies, and bologna.
After that we will return to the LOFT around 12:00 for an hour of Bible study and discussion around the topic of how we can better help meet certain needs in our world.
At 1:00 we will break our fast with soup and crackers. We will then goof off together until 3:00.

Your student can sign up in the LOFT to participate. We can only take 32 students so its first come, first served. We are giving mission trip service project credit if they need it. To participate on Monday, March 15th, the student must raise some money, bring the sack lunches and participate in the fast. It is up to you as a parent to decide if your child has any health issues that prevent a complete fast (i.e. a lot of people drink Gatorade/ juice during their fast, they are free to bring this with them Monday morning). If your child has to eat solid food during their 24-hour period because of health issues, please let us know and work out a reasonable sacrifice they can make during this time.

| SMT 2010 |
Your second $100 payment is PAST DUE.
Our Jr. High Summer Mission Trip is June 26 - July 2, 2010. We will be going to work with Mission Arlington in Texas again this year. Continue to complete your 4 required service projects. |

| Wednesday Night Dinner will be at 6pm on Wednesdays that Olathe schools are in session for the ENTIRE day. Dinner will be served near rooms 304 & 305. Cost is $3. |
